RE: Scrolling Issues, Windows XP/Up-Dated

It should be updated with Windows or Microsoft Update. There may be better drivers at the video cards mfg (if you have a card?) but it is way more complicated to do. Try MS Update first, in fact you will probably have many updates available that need to be applied if you just reloaded Windows. Randy

RE: Best Trailer Tires

My next set of tires will be Titans. They're made in the USA (Ohio, I think) and they have an ST205/70R15 8-ply that's load range D. When I was researching I called Titan and was told their ST's were made in Mexico? This was two years ago so might have changed? I settled on Maxxis and have had no problems in two seasons. Randy

RE: Win Vista users

I have an HP photosmart that won't operate at all on Vista. With Vista Home Premium 32bit and a Photosmart P1100 I was able to use the Vista 32 drivers for a HP 1120c with success. Worth a try? Randy

RE: Use of GPS add-on with previous years MS Streets & Trips

I am more interested in knowing where you bought the 2009 version and did you get the new GPS that connects to the USB port. This is apparently only available in Canada. I want to purchase it, but have not seen it anywhere yet. Click here

RE: Digital TV On The Road - Your Experience

Just finished a trip and in Joseph Oregon I couldn't get any channels digital, was told they get 3 usable channels on analog but I didn't try any more. Don't know if they even have digital out there? Then at Charbonneau Park 13 miles from Tri-Cities Washington I got 8 strong channels on digital but when a vehicle drove by it would pixalate until they passed. And at times even without a drive by it would randomly do the same, might have been from air traffic?? When I checked the signal strength it was almost all the way to the good side and still had these minor interruptions. Randy

RE: CHARBONNEAU Park, WA (by Tri-Cities) Question?

#38 has water, as do most of the sites there. Enjoy, wildmanbaker I am currently at this park and to set the record straight, ONLY the 15 (out of 54) full hookup sites have water! Randy

RE: Hurricane Ike Internet Coverage

thanks jim is there some way to just get/listen to one of those shots? 4 different shots talking over each other isn't helpful. I see one of the screens sez roads clear, no reason not to leave. I bet. :) bumpy After you pick the one you want to listen to and watch you can double click on the picture and it should go full screen. Hit Escape on your keyboard to return back to the group. Randy

RE: Microsoft Streets & Trips 2007 - Routing Options

Thanks for that great tip! New question, has anyone figured out how to copy and paste an address into Streets & Trips? Randy Hold the control key then hit the V key. Just like the old days. Sam Thanks Sam! Two irritating problems cured in one post, how great is that! Randy

RE: IE 8 Beta

Just removed ie8 beta 2 from my Vista machine. It had too many problems to list! It never put an uninstall option anywhere and I mean anywhere! Had to use a command line I found online to set it back to ie7. Too early for this beta release! Randy

RE: RBW little rocker swivel handle problem?

Or you can take the head off, flip it over, put the handles in the swivel position and tighten the bolts that hold the handles on. Once tightened they will not move at all. Randy

RE: Problem - Check Valve?

It's always a good idea to carry a plug for the city water connection. If this valve fails while boondocking you will loose ALL water pressure and possibly all your water. I keep a plug on mine. My 02 Wilderness just did the same thing as the OP'er, except on mine the plastic valve is gone, just a spring inside so I now use a nylon screw-in plug like recommended above. Randy

#38 has water, as do most of the sites there. Enjoy, wildmanbaker Thanks Wildman, didn't make sense to me that they wouldn't have water with the park on a river/lake and the fantastic irrigation system the park has! Great, I can leave the water tank at home!!! Randy

RE: CHARBONNEAU Park, WA (by Tri-Cities) Question?

Sites 8, 12-21, 40-41, 43-44 are full hook ups. Thanks Johnna, I saw that those sites have sewer but the question is do the others have water? I called the help line and they didn't think any sites had water, they didn't sound very sure of the themselves though? I don't want to haul my 35 gallon water tank around for two weeks if I don't have to. Any one else know for sure? Randy
